RACE RESULTS 3-27 THROUGH 4-25 2010

While the weather has been a bit windy and nippy it has proven to be only a small deterrent for our devoted racers and fans.

The opening races were sunny with good traction. The cooler weather led to many breakouts in eliminations. Louie Roberts reports his fastest passes that weekend.

MERIDIAN, Idaho -- Kenny Chandler says he’s surprised he can still hear after all his years of racing.
It’s clear the veteran driver still has what it takes to dominate, though, as he showed Saturday night at ASA-sanctioned Meridian Speedway.

Mark Zirschy passes on the low side of turn two as Michael Gutenberger slams into the wall near the pit entrance. Emergency personell extracted Michael and he walked to the ambulance under his own power but was not transported to the hospital at that time.

MERIDIAN, Idaho — ASA-sanctioned Meridian Speedway is Racin’ for a Cure on Saturday night with some of the fastest sprintcar drivers in the Northwest set to do battle.

Melissa does it again and takes the record from her father again too. For the second time this season Melissa Scott raises the bar and this time Marv Weaver only held the record for about a minute. Scott's record from two weeks ago was beat when Weaver rolled out on the track for qualifying but Scott knocked off a tenth or so and raised the bar even higher. Way to go Melissa.

MERIDIAN, Idaho -- Conditions weren’t perfect Saturday, but Melissa Scott was.
The veteran Nampa, Idaho, driver maintained momentum at ASA-sanctioned Meridian Speedway for her second feature victory in as many tries in the 2010 College of Western Idaho Professional Truck Driving School Street Stocks series.
