My wife can't resist that smile. I was merely wondering what he was thinking. This photo was inside the Media Center at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as the drivers were coming out of the NASCAR prerace meeting.

The IHRS is not only preparing for a winning season this year but there is alot to enjoy. The collections are growing and there will be multiple events where you can come see the cool stuff being preserved for history and future generations. Steve Towery and Stan Fuller have been collecting stuff for a lot of years and even I have some old stuff.

Former racer and shop owner, Cliff Barrett, builds recreations of jalopies from the fifties. This is his first one and he is completing his second right now.

The old time county fair and grange cake walks was the first thing I thought of when I saw this photo. It looked like Ables was caught up in this but he squeeked by on the high side as this was taking place. It was bad luck for the others. This was July 4th

and stayed out there for a 60 lap "wet enduro". The track never did get dry and neither did the fans but the hard core fans had a good time. I believe this was June 13, 2009. For the rest of the story look here > http://www.idahoracingnews.com/node/351

I can't rmemeber who this guy is but he made me chuckle. Of course that's Sierra Jackson on the right. She knows how to keep her eyes open.
